I'm not sure just where to start. There seems to be so much information floating around in my head about what I have learned this week. I think the word "focus" is going to be my mantra for this course. I see so many issues that I feel need attention, it's hard not to spend precious time delving into them. It reminds me of looking through the Encyclopedia Britannica for one topic and being side-tracked by interesting words or pictures as I thumbed through.
I have looked into websites listed in our Dana text for additional understanding. The one that comes to mind right now is the National Staff Development Council. This lead me to start looking for websites that might have research for my own topic - to investigate the impact of student suggestions on the school climate of my school. When I first thought of this topic, I was just thinking of doing one of the activities from my Internship Plan. I did not even know that what I really wanted to do involved our school climate. Here I thought I was going to help find a way to improve testing (which I learned is School Performance), and I end up investigating climate. Climate actually needs more attention right now than testing, so it's a good change.
I agree! It is very hard to stay focused on just one topic, especially when you see so many areas that you could choose to address. Good luck!
